Restaurants Open for Thanksgiving

As reported in the Palm Beach Post today, here are restaurants within 15 minutes driving distance from Grandview Gardens Bed & Breakfast in West Palm Beach:

AVOCADO GRILL

125 Datura St., West Palm Beach; 561-623-0822

Hoping to lighten up the holiday a bit, the popular West Palm Beach restaurant will serve a healthier version of a holiday feast from 1 to 9 p.m. The three-course meal costs $47 per adult, $25 per child. Diners will have seven fresh first-course options that range from salads to fish tacos, seven main course options that include a traditional Thanksgiving dinner as well as a more healthful version, plus mussels, grilled hanger steak organic salmon, and a vegetarian sweet potato gnocchi. For the sweet finale, there are five options, including decadent pies. 

OKEECHOBEE STEAKHOUSE

2854 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach; 561-683-5151

The iconic steakhouse will serve a traditional Thanksgiving meal from 1 to 9 p.m., for $30.99 per adult, $15.99 per child. The meal: house salad, turkey with stuffing and gravy, mashed potatoes or yams, vegetables, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie.

PISTACHE

101 N Clematis St., West Palm Beach; 561-833-5090

This popular French bistro will offer a three-course Thanksgiving menu from 3 to 9 p.m., at $59 per adult, $25 per child (plus tax and 20 percent tip). Reservations are recommended. On the menu: French soups and salads, roast turkey with chestnut brioche stuffing, bacon Brussels sprouts and sweet potato puree, beef Bourguignon, Florida pompano, steak frites, plus various holiday-worthy pies and desserts.

EAU RESORT

100 S. Ocean Blvd., Manalapan; 561-540-4924 

The resort’s Salon Ballroom will host the Eau Does Giving Grand Buffet, which benefits the Palm Beach County Food Bank, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sumptuous buffet costs $95 for adults, $40 for children ages 5 to 12.

Meanwhile, Eau’s Temple Orange bistro serves a Thanksgiving buffet from 5 to 10 p.m. for $65 per adult, $16 per child aged 5 to 12.  At Angle, the resort’s fine dining option, à la carte dinner will be served from 5 to 10 p.m., with wine pairings available.

The resort is also offering a “Turkey to Go” option: buy a complete takeout meal for four to six guests for $295. Orders must be placed by Nov. 20.
