Clematis Street is the traditional main street of West Palm Beach, offering an authentic, vibrant South Florida atmosphere. Restaurant goers can combine dinner with a stroll down to the Waterfront with it’s park, promenade and piers which offer a panoramic view of Palm Beach Island and the downtown skyline. Clematis Street is particularly popular later in the evening. Ample parking is available at one of the many public garages ($ 1 for 2 hours and $ 1 for each hour thereafter). Grandview Gardens guests recommend the following restaurants:
- Pistache – French Brasserie cuisine facing the new West Palm Beach Waterfront Commons (water view). Very nice atmosphere. 101 N Clematis St, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. (561) 833-5090 / www.pistachewpb.com
- Rocco’s Taco & Tequila Bar – One of the best (and vibrant) Mexican restaurants in the city….very popular. 224 Clematis Street, West Palm Beach – (561) 650-1001
- Cabana Restaurant – Featuring Nuevo Latino cuisine, Cabana’s offers something a little exotic in a hip/contemporary atmosphere (with a nice lounge area). 533 Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401 /561) 833-4773 www.cabanarestaurant.com
- Hullabaloo – One of our new favorites in downtown, this restaurant reminds visitors of a hidden hole-in-the-wall restaurant you’d find in New York City. The food is great, coming out of the open kitchen with a wood burning oven, and the drinks are delicious. Outside seating available. 517 Clematis St., West Palm Beach, FL 33401. (561) 833-1033
