From 5 – 10pm on the West Palm Beach downtown waterfront, enjoy one of the largest free outdoor Independence Day celebrations in South Florida. This year’s theme, “Together We CREATE America” embraces the City of West Palm Beach’s Downtown arts, culture and entertainment district. Free admission.
Live Music Two stages of non-stop entertainment. The Main Stage at the Meyer Ampitheatre will feature National recording artists The Lost Trailers and Ryan Star.
Fireworks Magnificent 16-minute fireworks display featuring dazzling pyrotechnics set to top music hits illuminating the sky over the Intracoastal Waterway.
United State of Arts presented by Alex and Ani Murals made from dirt on cars, sidewalk chalk art and a barber who creates works of art in people’s hair. Local artists will create “spirit poles,” large signage reflecting a patriotic theme to be displayed at the event. Award-winning artist Daniel Pontet will perform ‘Impulse Art,’ creating paintings with his feet, inspired by live music.
Club 4th The ticketed, 21 and up “Club 4th” area in the Lake Pavilion features an air conditioned space to party, complete with a dance floor and DJ, a bar with beer, wine and specialty cocktails, dinner from Ruth’s Chris Steak House, and the Pavilion’s beautiful, private terrace to view the fireworks – all for only $25 per person. Tradition Military salute for all branches and the unfurling of the giant three-story American flag on the side of the Esplanade Grande building.
Family Fun A 9-hole Patriotic Putt-Putt course on the Waterfront for just $5 a round (with a $2.50 club deposit refunded at end of game), an interactive kids’ area and more. Open daily through July 5th from 5 to 9 p.m. with closing day hours on July 6th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
