The second annual West Palm Beach Arts Festival, presented by the Armory Art Center, is slated to kickoff Saturday, December 2nd. This celebration of arts and community includes opportunities to shop local and live demonstrations of printmaking and papermaking, 3D jewelry making and pottery throwing. Enjoy all these enriching activities to the tune of live music groups. Aficionados will also appreciate Armory instructor Sam Perry’s discussion of his solo exhibition Social Set: Paintings, Drawing, and Videos by Sam Perry. No need to leave the kids at home, the event features interactive activities to entertain all ages in the Kid Zone.
Of course, no festival is complete without culinary flair. Sample your way through a variety of vendors, and sip your way through a selection of beer, wine and a signature cocktail featuring Tito’s handmade vodka.
The Armory Art Center itself is a hub of cultural activity, located at 811 Park Place, it is home to a dozen state-of-the-art studios and offers nearly 100 courses. Over the course of three decades they’ve worked to educate generations of artists in our community.
